Secrets of the Eighteen Mansions

What Miclat is writing about is more interesting than how he writes it. Miclat offers an in-depth look at the life of a Communist cadre in China during Martial Law.

If you're interested in the underground resistance to the Marcos dictatorship, try reading Lualhati Milan Abreu's Agaw-Dilim, Agaw-Liwanag. Apart from the uninspired writing, Miclat's "historical" account is already colored by his own present-day vested interests.
